About Us
Davis Mechatronics is an engineering consultancy specializing in mechanical and robotics solutions. Founded in Davis, California, we partner with innovative companies to solve complex engineering challenges through custom design, prototyping, and testing services.
Our founding team previously built and led the engineering efforts at two robotics startups: Advanced Farm and Greenbotics. At Advanced Farm, we developed robotic harvesting systems for fragile, high-value crops like strawberries and apples, growing a team of 50+ engineers in the process. Before that, at Greenbotics, we designed and commercialized robotic solar panel cleaners for utility-scale sites—technology that led to the company’s acquisition by SunPower in 2013. With over a century of combined experience turning novel ideas into production-ready machines, we bring deep technical expertise and a proven track record to every project we take on.
At Davis Mechatronics, we offer full-stack robotics and automation expertise—including mechanical design, embedded systems, and robotics software.
